Los Angeles based singer-songwriter BAYWUD independently released his debut album Back To Life on February 24th. The official music video for the title track ‘Back to Life‘ is released on June 1st marking the start of PRIDE month.

Directed and filmed by Carolina Montenegro and Turner Munch, BAYWUD’s latest music video literally brings the song back to LIFE, in this epic visual art display.

The video was shot in various locations around southern California, including the Capital Arts movie studios in Chatsworth, as well as the historical Salton Sea.  It opens with a wide shot of the artist barreling through the expansive and hot, desert lands.  From here we are greeted by a lonely mirror in the middle of the desert, which eventually shows BAYWUD a peak into the past of his own mind, including a rush to the hospital, an inpatient psych ward and eventually a morgue.  We eventually arrive at the climax of the story, when BAYWUD realizes his destiny and his need to fight and survive, despite all obstacles.

This is BAYWUD’s true fight song to himself.  It’s about looking inward and finding the strength and will to survive and move forward in the world.
