Los Angeles native pop recording artist Thomas Orlina is being considered for a Grammy nomination at the 67th annual Grammy Awards.
His pop-dance single, “Tell Me Your Name” was submitted to the Recording Academy for the “Best Dance Pop Recording” category.
Thomas’ illustrious on-camera and music career has received a plethora of attention with features in Forbes, CNN, GLAAD and other prominent outlets. He is best known for his advocacy work speaking on the importance of protecting your mental health and using his voice through music to amplify the LGBTQIA+, AAPI communities, and diversity. He is a part of a non-profit organization, “Asian Mental Health Project” that aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental health.
It has been reported that Orlina is one of the first queer Filipino-American solo male artists to be considered for this category. He originally gained media notoriety with his YouTube series, “Your Time With Thomas” which serves as both a reality non-scripted series and lifestyle channel.
Orlina has had a busy year, appearing on covers for various magazines, performing at his sold out show in Los Angeles, and live performances throughout the west coast including Las Vegas. His next performance is happening in Honolulu, Hawaii for an award ceremony that celebrates influencers like Bretman Rock and the biggest celebrities from the Filipino community. He is set to perform a medley of his dance pop hits.
With a performance on the way, new music, and other various projects, Orlina remains a trailblazing force in dance pop music and an advocate with a mission for social change.
Grammy voting is officially underway. The 67th annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 2, 2025.
