Voices of Solidarity features filmmakers, musicians, poets, artists, and advocates from Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe and the Americas

Los Angeles, CA  (May 30, 2025)  As the LGBTQIA+ community faces increasing challenges and threats, Rainbow Advocacy, a partner organization of Charter for Compassion, is proud to announce the launch of Voices of Solidarity. This global collaborative arts, social justice, and educational program is designed to highlight marginalized voices and creative media advocacy.

Launching in conjunction with Rainbow Advocacy’s WorldPride 2025 Partner Event, the program introduces the Voices of Solidarity 2025 Global Gatherings, alongside the 8th annual OUR PRIDE 2025 Shorts & Arts Fest.

As a WorldPride 2025 Partner Event, Voices of Solidarity is introduced as “A global arts experience sharing stories of resilience & weaving our community together as threads in an expanding tapestry.” [conversation history]

Throughout the month of June, the program will feature the first Global Gatherings events, starting with the WorldPride Gathering (June 1-9), an official partner event with WorldPride 2025 being held in Washington, DC. Following this, the EuroPride Gathering will coincide with EuroPride events in Lisbon, Portugal (June 14-21), and the month will conclude with a youth-focused gathering (June 22-30).

These virtual events and community networking programs feature online community gathering spaces and networking opportunities, designed to foster relationship building, new alliances, and inspiration transcending borders, with participants gathering from every continent.

The 2025 Global Gatherings is a FREE virtual event held in conjunction with the OUR PRIDE Shorts & Arts Festival. Participants can engage in an assortment of online sessions, presentations, performances, panel discussions, exhibitions and community networking to inspire, educate, and galvanize meaningful impact for the global LGBTQIA+ community. Participants in the Gatherings will include filmmakers, musicians, artists, writers, performers, digital creators, activists and advocates presenting a wide range of creative and advocacy efforts.

In partnership with the Charter for Compassion, the Gatherings serve as a platform for sharing missions, insights, and actionable ideas to foster a more compassionate and equitable world.

The 8th annual OUR PRIDE Shorts & Arts Fest complements the Gatherings, offering 40 days of access to over 170 short films (50+ viewing hours) from more than 25 countries. Films are available worldwide on Roku, AppleTV, Google & Apple apps through eoFlix. An All Access Pass for the festival is available for $15.

Voices of Solidarity, created to raise awareness of LGBTQIA+ human rights issues and raise funds for nonprofit organizations, utilizes arts and media as a platform for social action and advocacy, empowering people and building resilience.

Registration for the Global Gatherings is FREE at OURPRIDE.org
