Artists

We want to make it as easy as possible for artists and audiences to connect. We also want festivals and organizations interested in connecting with artists to easily find you by type/genre/location etc. So we’ve created a network that can work for all.

Artists can join either the BASIC network or the PREMIUM network.

BASIC NETWORK
The BASIC artist network gives artists a profile page to display their music genre, country, pronouns, website and social media links. Additionally there is also a private artist discord server you can use to connect with other artists, share info and collaborate. And if you’re an artist who also has a side gig (maybe graphic design or editing) you can also be listed in our services network.

PREMIUM NETWORK
The PREMIUM artist network is for those who want a little bit extra at a very low cost – $49/year ($4/month).

In addition to what’s provided through our Basic artist network you’ll:
* be listed and linked in our Artist Merch directory page
* have your announcements posted in our new monthly newsletter
* become part of our Global Queer Artist Database, and
* be able to use our Instagram and Facebook stories, Tik Tok and IGTV to promote your releases

and more!

Your network fees go to helping keep Q programs and the network available and also to growing The Q into a self sustainable “B Corp” model platform. Annual network fees are used for general operations and marketing as well as creating new network programs and opportunities.

As the platform grows and revenue increases, The Q will work to:

* Provide educational and support resources to the network
* Employ LGBTQ creatives
* Establish grants to support LGBTQ creatives
* Establish events to showcase LGBTQ creatives
* Provide funding back to LGBTQ community youth and organizations
