What first got you into music?
The need to express myself, I guess. No matter what I do, I always find myself on a stage in the end. I picked up the guitar not so long ago, my head was not in the he right space, then one thing led to another and a couple of years later I was recording music.
Are you from a musical or artistic family?
My dad had an accordion, I heard him play once. My stepfather played acoustic guitar, other than that, not much influence to pick up on any instrument.
Who are the artists that inspired you to make music?
John Prine, Iris Dement, Gordon Lightfoot, Jewel, Ryan Bingham, Nanci Griffith, Jewel, James Taylor, Ralph McTell, Cat Stevens
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Very influenced by singer/songwriter and folk from the 60s and 70s, I think. I’ll let the listener decide.
How would you describe your creative process and how you approach?
I usually write my lyrics on public transportation, on my phone, I also record myself on the phone, I sing the lyrics or hum them, and then when I get home start working in the music. I try not to write for more than 15 or 20 minutes a day. I get distracted after that.

Well, I have a regular job, but working out is something I do every day. I used to be a fitness instructor. I think that stuck with me. Reading too, I try to read during the weekend.

Mostly private events.

Collaborating with other people. Going to the studio and get to work with other talented musicians and producers. I’m a loner most of the time, it’s just me and the guitar for the most part of the process, so that experience is fun.

Anything related to marketing.
What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?
Being able to connect with an audience, no matter how big or small.
What does the next year look like for you?
