Song Details and Information
“Sirens” is the lead single from my debut album Midnight In Brooklyn. The song features my producer Blvkm0nd4y (H.E.R, Justin Bieber), ACEXXI and Chris Jackson. Midnight In Brooklyn will hit all streaming platforms on April 11th, 2022 (Yawny’s Birthday), with single “Sirens” dropping March 25th.
The standout record puts an alternative R&B spin on the Brooklyn drill sound that made stars out of Pop Smoke and Bobby Smurda. Inspired by the records reference to The Beatles (“With a Little Help From My Friends” is quoted on the pre-chorus), the song is rounded out by features from Blvkm0nd4y, ACEXXI, and Chris Jackson completing Yawny’s makeshift version of the iconic foursome.
Rodney Jerkins plays piano briefly on the song, which was recorded and produced in his home while Yawny and Sean were there working on projects for the music icon.
