What You Like is the third single from NY-based queer pop artist Souvenir’s upcoming Human Nature EP. An emotionally raw song about hiding true emotions and pretending to be perfect for someone, What You Like is inspired by the pain and cathartic pop pleasure of acts like MUNA and Carly Rae Jepsen. The track (produced by Dominic Florio) blends lush vocoders, glittery synths, and yearning guitars with heart-racing beats and vocal samples that capture that anxiety of early romance and the desperate desire to be loved, whatever it takes.
