Montreal queer pop icon Maryze announces her debut LP 8, and shares her lead single “Experiments,” an uptempo electro-pop anthem reminiscent of Caroline Polachek or Charli XCX. Combining futuristic electronic beats with a wash of dreamy harmonies, infectious pop melodies, and a wave of synth-laden sonic elements, “Experiments” dives head first into the awe-inspiring sonic universe that is Maryze. Keep an eye out for the vibrant (and a little risqué) music video accompanying the hit single (out March 3rd), followed by the full length, 8, out May 6th.
