Song Details and Information
“Temporary Moments of Life” was recorded at Blendworks Studio in Brooklyn, NY last summer. I had gone through so much change, heartbreak, revelations, and was trying so hard to manifest courage and forgiveness — the only constant I had to hold onto was the knowledge that this current experience was only temporary, “this too shall pass” energy. I wasn’t intentional about making this song, in fact very little from the new EP; “Angel Musiq” was thought about longer than the span of 5 weeks. The things I loved about hearing this track play off the monitor for the first time in studio was the ferocity and gentleness that I hadn’t been able to marry on a track quite yet. This song is raw, but conditioned – expressive, but concise – immediate, but lasting. Alongside the visual package, there will be a lyric video and music video accompanying this release for the month of March.
