“Heartbreaker” is a vocal track from my debut album “JOINTS” that will be available on all streaming platforms July 22.This dance-friendly groove comes alive with the addition of live elements. I used to do some singing and rapping with a jazz band, so bringing in live instrumentation to take my productions to the next level is really important to me. When I was in high school, I started to expand my musical interests outside of what I grew up. That lead me to bands like Depeche Mode, OMD, Blondie, and other synth friendly post punk vibes that had alternative pop elements to it and I think those influences really come alive here.
My goal with this album was to create a series of joints that worked well together, even if they played with different influences and songs. For me, what ties it all together is the spirit and the mood of the songs. I am a pretty genre-less artist and with my music I try to create moods rather than songs that fit a singular genre. Hence, why it is sometime hard to find the right genre on this site!
“Heartbreaker” is one of my favorite tracks on the album and hope music listeners here enjoy its production quality, lyrics, and the live elements that take it from electronic song to rockstar track!
