Making this song was a demanding (but rewarding) experience because I really challenged myself to make a unique sounding pop song different from anything I’ve done before. I put a modern twist on my interpretation of 80s/90s pop songs, with big drums and lots of synths. Maybe it’s a little cliche, but I wanted the song to have a “dreamy” vibe to it.To put it simply; my “dream machine” is my mind/brain. I’m a believer in manifestation, and I believe you can do anything if you put your mind to it & believe in it. I wrote this song in January 2022, and the bridge is about a special person in my life that I had lost touch with, and just last week the “manifestation” came true (talking about the lyric “I always wanted to see you” from the bridge).
