Feminist attitude meets disco samples! “Mad, Bad and Dangerous to know” was a term that was originally used to describe the English poet, Lord Byron. He is remembered not only for his poetry and artistic influence but also for the scandal that surrounded him due to his lavish lifestyle and many affairs.
(It also worth mentioning that he was also the father of Ada Lovelace, who was a feminist pioneer. She sought an education for herself at a time when women were not educated, and she has been recognised as a key player in the thinking that led to the invention of the modern day computer.)
More recently though the term “Mad, Bad and Dangerous” has been used to describe women in general, especially when they are being seen as being ‘difficult’. I am suggesting that you come to a not too hasty conclusion of presuming this just means ‘standing up for herself’.
