Emét shares the following about “Carlin’s Farm” single: “My ma (Marie) was raised on a farm in Tamnaherin (just outside of Derry), which I have loosely taken influence for to create Carlin’s Farm. The lyrics are based on a conversation I had with her a decade ago about getting older and becoming more comfortable as a person. It also touches on the possibility of reincarnation, which as a traditional Catholic family wasn’t a topic often discussed but is mentioned once or twice during this album. The album artwork is based on a painting by my father’s father, Eddie McGonagle, of Mulroy Bay in county Donegal.”
