Song Details and Information
As a queer person, I’m used to being dissed by the Pope, but I was initially inspired to write this song after some comments were made about how people who don’t have children but have pets being selfish. Once I started writing the song, it became more of a protest song about the state of the world in general, and the mess that humans are making of the planet. The sound is uplifting but the lyrics are quite dark.
The song’s line-up is as follows:

Naomi Keates (UK) – songwriter, guitar, vocals
Paul Hilger (Germany) – lead guitar, bass
Dante Sesin/artist name: Elias Mohr (Argentina) – banjo
Sibori Zuniga Molina – percussion

The song was mixed and mastered by Grammy-nominated recording and sound engineer Thiago Baggio in Brazil.
